The task force which will prepare the Casebook on Conflict of Laws aims at writing the first European comparative casebook on private international law. The book would be first a teaching tool. While legal education remains national in the vast majority of European countries, the project would aim at offering a book which can be used in many European jurisdictions by teachers willing to offer a more European education to their students. The book will therefore include materials of different jurisdictions (essentially France, Germany and the United Kingdom) and offer a comparative perspective.
